General Information: Beetup Compact herbicide acts through the foliage of seedling broadleaved weeds to give selective weed control in sugar and red beet crops. This product should be used strictly in accordance with label recommendations.
Susceptible Weeds Include: Seedling stages of chickweed, fathen, fumitory, groundsel, redroot, shepherd’s purse, spurrey, nettle and twin cress.
Black nightshade, cornbind and willow weed are controlled only if treated up to the four true leaf stage.
Resistant Weeds Include: Grass weeds, mature annual broadleaf weeds, perennial broadleaf weeds and wireweed.
Beetup Compact does not require the addition of surfactants. Ensure spray equipment is thoroughly cleaned before use. Do not apply in more than 280 litres of water per hectare.
Mixing: Partly fill the spray tank and add the required amount of Beetup Compact herbicide with agitation system operating. Add the remaining water and any mixing partners. Maintain agitation until spraying is complete. Do not allow spray mixture to stand overnight. Flush equipment with clean water after use.
Beetup Compact herbicide may be broadcast or band treated. For band treatment ensure that the use rate per sprayed area is consistent with label recommendations.

A repeat application may be made to late germinating weeds at least 7 days after the first treatment. Do not apply if air temperature is likely to rise above 29°C, and avoid treatment if rain is likely before spray has dried on the foliage. Herbicide activity will be slowed down in cool weather. |
